I am having trouble entering the info for the Batch Reporting screen. Can you explain this screen some more?

We have created a guide that explains Batch Reporting in greater detail. You can view it here.

The wins/losses in the fantasy standings report are not getting updated for the playoff weeks. Why?

When creating the Fantasy Standings report, there is an option that says "Include playoff wins/losses in fantasy standings". If you leave this box unchecked, the playoff games will not be counted in the fantasy standings. Fantasy Commissioner determines which games are playoff games by the number of regular season weeks and playoff weeks you have entered under "League Info".

When I specify I want the top 40 players for the Top Players report, I get more than 40. Is this a bug?

This is not a bug. This will happen if the last ranked player is tied in fantasy points with other players. All the tied players will show up, and that is why the list will be longer.

When exporting the Fantasy Standings report to HTML, the report width is very long. Why is that?

This is caused by the way the commissioner notes are typed in. Please use the ENTER key at the end of each line instead of letting it word wrap. This will fix the problem.

How can I e-mail reports to the other owners each week?

Use the new "Batch Reporting" option to e-mail the reports to all the owners. If you don't want to use that option, follow these instructions:
To e-mail a report to the other owners, you will need to export the report. To do this, run the report, and then when you are viewing the report, click the "envelope" icon at the top. This will present you with a number of different formats to save the exported file to. Some formats work better than others. The best format to export to is HTML. This will create a HTML file that you can send as an attachment in an e-mail, and the other owners can view it in their web browser. The next best format is MS Word. You can also export to text, and include the text in the body of the e-mail message. And finally, another option is to export to HTML, and create a web page for your league.

Some owners on AOL cannot open attached MS Word files sent via email.

AOL likes to change the name of the attached files, so have the other owners rename the attached files so they have a ".doc" extension, and then they should be able to open them. If this does not solve the problem, go to our Batch Reporting Explained page and check under the heading 'AOL Users - Reading Attachements' for another solution.

I upload the reports to my web site using 'Plain-Text HTML'. However, when printing the reports get cutoff on the right side. How do I get the reports to not cutoff?

You need to change the fonts on your browser to avoid having the reports cutoff. Here is how you do it depending on your browser:

Netscape - Choose Edit from the menu, then Preferences. Under the Appearance category, choose Fonts. Change the Fixed Width Font to Courier New with a Size of 8.
Also, choose File from the menu, then Page Setup. Change the left and right margins to 0.30 inches.

Internet Explorer - Choose View from the menu, then Fonts. Select the 'Smallest' option.
Also, choose File from the menu, then Page Setup. Change the left and right margins to 0.30 inches.

You could also use the export type of HTML to avoid this problem.

Can I view the reports from 2005 in the 2006 version?

You can only view the fantasy standings, weekly results, and other reports from last year using the 2005 version. You can't view the results from 2005 using the 2006 version. You should print all the reports from the 2005 season before you install the 2006 version.

When I print the Fantasy Standings report, only a few teams are displayed. Why are teams missing?

Our software uses Crystal Reports, version 6.0. If you install a product that uses a newer version of Crystal reports, it will cause this problem. To fix this, please delete the following files, then re-install Fantasy Commissioner, then try it. This will not affect your league database.
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\p2irdao.dll
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\p2ctdao.dll
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\p2bdao.dll
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\EXPSRV.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\crpaig32.dll

When I print the Fantasy Standings report, some teams are showing as having played two games, but only one game has been played.

Go to the "scoring options" screen under the "fantasy scoring system" menu and uncheck the "award a win for the top xx teams each week".

On the Fantasy Standings report, the head-to-head sorting does not seem to be working correctly.

The head-to-head sort uses the head-to-head record of ALL the teams with the same overall record. So if there are seven teams with a 2-1 record, the report will use the wins and losses of each team against all the other teams with a 2-1 record.
