I'm an AOL user, and I'm having trouble using the 'Internet' option to download the weekly stats and NFL rosters.

I used "Import NFL Rosters", but it did not update the league database with the latest roster moves.

We stopped updating the NFL roster file once the season started. All of the rosters will automatically be corrected each week. If a player gets stats for a team that is different from the team he is on in Fantasy Commissioner, it will be changed. Any player who gets stats and who is not in Fantasy Commissioner, he will be added. A player will not be deleted from the database or changed to a free agent. If you would like to modify a players team, choose "Player/Team Stats", select the player, and change his team.

When are the weekly stat files uploaded to the site?

The stat files will be available no later than 11:00 PDT each Sunday and Monday night. The file uploaded on Monday night contains all the Sunday games plus the Monday game. Download the Sunday file in order to see the preliminary results going into the Monday night game. The weekly stat files are at this link. For games on Thursday and Saturday, we will also make available the stats for those games by 11:00 PDT on the day of the game.

If you are using AOL's dialer, then AOL will not allow other programs to work with it. You will have to use a dial-up ISP (Internet Service Provider) like Netcom, Earthlink, etc., in order for the 'Internet' options in Fantasy Commissioner to work. Otherwise, you will have to use the 'Local' option instead of the 'Internet' option. This will require you to go to our web site to download the weekly stats and NFL rosters.

If you are having problems getting the latest stats from America Online, you need to "clear the cache" in your web browser. Follow these steps:

In America Online 3.0, go to the "Members" menu item.

In America Online 4.0, go to the "My AOL" option.

>From there, select "Preferences" and then click on "WWW".

Go to the "Advanced" section or screen, and look for the option for "Temporary Internet Files". Click on "Settings...".

Select the option to "reload each time the page is visited".

Then click on the "Empty Folder..." button to clear out the browser's cache.

Finally, click on OK to accept these settings, and then go to the download page again, and you should be able to see the latest updates.
